Dr. Jones established Marina Veterinary Center in Los Angeles into a thriving integrative hospital during her 16 years of ownership. Over time her practice was known as the go to place for second opinions and integrative care for those cases not responding to traditional therapies. Marina Vet Mobile offers the same holistic options in a mobile setting. We understand that serious health issues cannot be resolved in a 15 minute office call, now the trend of corporate veterinary care which covers most of the veterinary market. What Marina Vet Mobile offers is an extensive appointment that goes through a thorough history and exam that establishes a game plan for your pet’s longevity.
Dr. Rachel Jones, CVCP
Dr Jones is a 1999 graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school, Dr Jones spent 12 years working as a licensed veterinary technician in emergency medicine and critical care at the University of Pennsylvania and VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. Her strong interest in neurology inspired her to complete externships in neurology at NC State, Michigan State and the University of Pennsylvania. Shortly after starting an internship at VCA West LA Animal Hospital, she worked in private practice for several years before establishing Marina Veterinary Center Inc, which she owned and operated in Los Angeles, CA for 16 years. Since the sale of her stationary practice in 2020, she now owns and operates Marina Vet Mobile, a mobile version of her elite holistic veterinary practice. She services the high and low desert from Joshua Tree to Palm Springs, along with other areas and New York City on a limited basis
